Ready to join our adventure? Fill out an application and tell us why you are the right person for this role! Job Summary Resort Housekeeper is responsible for regularly cleaning the resort facilities, buildings, and amenities to ensure the resort is clean and sanitary at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
Observe precautions required to protect resort and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
Report any violations to management.
Report to work on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tags.
Handle all duties according to company policies and procedures.
Pick up daily work schedule as assigned.
Always be careful not to make excessive noise in the guest room areas so other guest are not disturbed both morning and evenings.
Clean guest rooms to company standards to insure our guests a comfortable stay.
Return cart to designated area at end of shift.
Assist team members in their jobs to ensure that all jobs are done on time.
Know and communicate Resort emergency procedures; inform and assist guests in emergencies.
Be flexible in regard to work schedule.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
ROLE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in housekeeping a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
Must adhere to all company policies and procedures and should be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers Ability to work independently, but with occasional interruptions.
