PAY RATE: $12.2634 - $21.5838 per hour
State Grade 15
This position is eligible for over-time compensation.
WORK LOCATION: Camp Navajo, Bellemont AZ
Position Description: Performs full administrative support functions for Garrison Command operations of Camp Navajo. At the instruction of the Garrison Deputy, may assist other functions in Garrison Headquarters. Performs extensive internal coordination of work between the large and diverse programmatic areas of the installation and functional areas of the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA). Resolves procedures conflicts among administrative functions on the Garrison. Collects data and summarizes information into useful management reports. Performs scheduling activities for the Garrison Commander and the Garrison Headquarters. Facilitates the flow of information to and through the Garrison Command, Camp Navajo Industrial Operation, and all DEMA functions on the installation. Performs preparation of documents using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Exchange and PowerPoint). Supervises activities through the direction of the Garrison Deputy. Maintains current and accurate filing systems for the Garrison Command. Prepares duplicates of documents identified for distribution. Prepares visual graphic presentations using PowerPoint. Assists DEERS operations for the Garrison Command. Processes and distributes incoming/outgoing external and internal mail.
Special Job Requirements: Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12). In state travel required. Requires the ability to obtain and retain a valid AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card (see Arizona Revised Statute 26-103). Requires the ability to achieve a favorable National Agency Check with Investigation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and
Qualifications: Knowledge of installation activities and its context within state government; appropriate data gathering and summarization methods and techniques; a full range of administrative functions; appropriate channels of communications with agency garrison and agency officials; appropriate safeguarding of sensitive of confidential data; problem solving techniques; use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and its applications; the military DEERS system. SKill in anticipating the needs of the Commander and Garrison; adjusting to a particular work style of the commander and garrison operations; prioritizing business items for the commander; exercising tact and diplomacy sufficient to maintain good relations with high level internal and external contacts; protecting the confidentiality of data on a frequent basis; and facilitating intra-agency and inter-agency communications. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships; interact with individuals in a professional and positive manner; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; and use Microsoft Office, scanners and copiers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
